"Emma is a miracle worker, I’ve tried every method for 3 and a half years to get my son to sleep and nothing has worked, I have the most stubborn little boy in the world but she has done it! Last night I had my first full night sleep!!"

About me

I’m Emma Gahan, a mum of two and an experienced sleep consultant.  I’m a passionate believer in the benefits of a gentle, nurturing approach to sleep-training.  The methods I teach are the same ones that turned around my own family situation - taking us from the stress of prolonged sleep-deprivation, to having a happier, healthier and more energised family life.  It was this that inspired me to train as a sleep consultant. I love being able to share my knowledge and skills and to support other parents on their journey; knowing the positive impact it will have for them and their children.

All children and families are different, so my approach is tailored to meet the needs of you and your family.  I’ve worked with new-born babies to 10-year-olds, including helping triplets with different feeding patterns to settle in the same room.  I’ve also supported children with special educational needs and disabilities, from autism to hearing impairment and I’ve worked with parents with postnatal depression.

Parenting is a steep learning curve and knowing when to ask for help is a sign of being a great parent!  I offer a range of services to suit your individual needs, from a 30-minute advice call, to one-to-one bespoke packages and even the option of an overnight stay.  Most of my packages are available online worldwide, but I can offer services in person, for families in the Bournemouth area (or outside of the Bournemouth area for an additional travel cost).

I also offer workshops for starting solids, either in-person or via Zoom, for parents who are thinking about weaning.
